WA: Police fear for health of missing woman

Police fear a woman who is missing from a Perth hospital where she was to undergo a
lifesaving operation may lapse into unconsciousness if not found.

Forty-one-year-old THI THUY LE left Perth's Queen Elizabeth Medical Centre about 2pm
yesterday, sparking a police search.

Ms LE, who was due to undergo a life-saving operation, could fall unconscious without
urgent medical attention.

A police are calling for public help, saying they need to trace her as soon as possible.

A spokesman says due to her condition Ms LE will appear with swollen facial features,
pale complexion and shortness of breath.

She is described as a slightly built woman with long black hair.

She was wearing a black woven jacket, black pants, thongs and carrying a black handbag
with red stripes.
